Basic Clean Air Car Course (68 Hours) $895.00
  The Basic Clean Air Car Course will cover:

smog requirements
overview of automotive emissions
general review of emission control devices
vehicle identification
visual inspection
understanding the rules and regulations:
- including BAR training
- operation of the Test Analyzer System (TAS)
- performance of emissions test
- complying with obligations to the customer

Advanced Clean Air Car Course (28 Hours) $365.00
  This course is only for those students with professional experience. Any student planning to enroll should contact lee@700AutoService.com. This course is designed for technicians applying for an initial or renewal of a EA Smog License. The student will learn how to use a DSO, In-Flight 5 Gas Analyzer, BAR '97 Dynamometer, and exhaust emissions diagnostic flow charts.

2007 Smog Check Update Course (Call for course schedule)
  This course is required to obtain an initial or renewal Smog Check License. Topics covered include operation and diagnosis of evaporative emissions systems, OBD II mode 6, and enhanced fuel trim. A brief introduction to CAN and the most current Smog Check program changes will be covered. BAR requires that all materials for this class must be purchased prior to the first day of class.




2009 Smog Check Update Course (16 Hours) $295.00
  This course is required to obtain an initial or renewal Smog Check License. Topics covered include operation and diagnosis of evaporative emissions systems, OBD II mode 6, and enhanced fuel trim.   This class is a BAR approved alternative to meet the Electrical/Electronic Systems requirement for a Smog License. BAR regulations requires each student to have a 100% attendance record for this class in order to pass the final exam.

There is a $100.00 re-test fee for each subsequent exam attempt
